Day 1
Youth Camp 05 theme: Knowing God...started on the sunday night...check in time 7.30pm. After getting the programme, name tags and the t-shirts we headed to the room we would be sleeping for the rest of the camp....We played some ice breaker games (some coconut tree thing)...then nothing else for the rest of the nite.
Day 2
Oh yes...my group was Chrestotes which is greek for gentleness. We were learnig about God's Creation. Half of the group went to the Botanic Gardens while the other half went to the science centre. I went to the Botanic Gardens. Jocelyn was sorta like the person who was in charge of writhing everything down....the rest of us just strolled thru the evolution garden...lazy!!(xD) We got back super late because of the heavy rain(very heavy!!). Then we did our presentation. Then we went to west coast park for the fellowship of the bottle..hehe. Got whacked by a water bomb...was very angry at the person who did it but...i DIDN'T KNOW WHO DID IT!!! Grr...
Day 3
We had war games!!! But this war game was pretty hard to understand. But it was fun...we played with waterbomb and i bombed Jia Han...haha. Jia was like "My best friend betrayed me!!!" But she bombed me back after the game was over!!! So revengeful!!! Then we played this game called atlantis...I got saved! My Group Rocks!! Then the unexpected happened. We all had to go up to the chapel...it was some courtroom thingy. Everyone would have been pretty serious but Wei En had to put on this Wig...which i think was a mop. He looked pretty silly in it. All of us were found guilty in different ways and we had to face the punishment the next evening.
Day 4
We had best of the best games today...the aim was to get 1000 points to redeem ourselves and save us from punishment. But 1000 points was impossible to reach as they gave points in tens. Everyone had to stand around and receive their punishments. But Wei en the judge took our punishments for us just like jesus did...i felt touched by his action and felt remorseful for whatever sin i had committed. I rededicated my life to him that day. It was a lesson learnt
Last Day!!
My group shared about how the feltthe day before and about the whole camp. Then we had to clean the compound...haha...my group did practically nothing cos it was clean. Then Wei en shared with us and wrapped up th camp. Then we had camp shots...the whole camp...then group shot..really learnt alot in this camp...i got to KNOW GOD BETTER!!!
